    About

You’re the most interesting person you’ll ever meet!

Hello, I’m Susan Cadley, LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor and I know there’s so much more to you than you realize.

Are you a super responsible person?  Can you spot a problem and a solution before anyone else? Do you have the ability to read a room or what other people are feeling and yet neglect yourself?

I help the helpers…the people who put themselves last.  You’re always there for anyone who calls.  You look cool and collected…but no one knows the overwhelm you feel on the inside.

Your relationships can feel like a one-way street.

    You’re the listener.

    The problem-solver.

    The fixer.

    And it’s lonely.

My work is dedicated to guiding you back to yourself, to your center,  so you’re able to hear your soul clearly and live confidently from your truth without guilt or worry.

Getting to know yourself offers you direction, clarity, and purpose. Revive your passion for life by remembering who you are and get yourself on your “to do” list.

    My Counseling Style

My expertise is listening between and beneath the lines using my counseling skills and intuition.  Clients describe my  counseling style to be warm, empathic and engaging. You won’t find me to be an “a-ha” therapist that listens and nods with little response. We’ll be in a conversational flow as we navigate your inner world together. In the places that seem dark, I can be a compassionate guide with a lantern of hope that can guide you gently home, to your soul.

Prior to becoming a therapist, I was in a corporate sales and marketing career that I truly enjoyed.  I always had an inkling I wouldn’t remain in the corporate world and I believed that everything I was learning was preparing me for my next venture.  I was successful in my business career because I listened intently, I supported and nurtured people’s voices in getting heard, and I was a calming positive presence in the midst of negativity and conflict filled business meetings.  These attributes came along with me when I heard the call from my soul to change careers  and become a therapist.

Through my own big life changes, significant losses, difficult relationships, disappointments, and physical challenges, I’ve  learned that moving through, not around, difficult and painful experiences builds inner strength that supports you throughout your life no matter what shows up.

And because I’m a helper, an intuitive and a responsible person, I know what over extending yourself feels like.  I’ve been there and I felt lost and alone until I learned a new way.

Now I teach my clients what works.

My clients create change within that sticks.

    They learn about themselves.

They remember their hidden talents and strengths.

They feel the pull of their soul-mission and slowly let go of having to do it all, all the time, for everyone else.
